Alternate Employer Endorsement

A workers compensation endorsement that extends coverage to treat a staffing client or labor broker as if they were the employer for purposes of the policy. In the tower industry where labor is frequently sourced through staffing agencies and crew brokers, this endorsement protects the entity directing day-to-day work from being treated as an uninsured statutory employer. Without it, the host employer may face direct liability for workplace injuries outside the workers comp exclusive remedy.
