Care Custody and Control

A standard CGL exclusion that removes coverage for damage to property in the insured's possession, custody, or under the insured's control. For tower contractors handling carrier-owned antennas, radios, and transmission line during installation or maintenance, this exclusion creates a significant gap because the most likely property to be damaged is the customer's equipment being worked on. Rigger's liability or installation floater policies are used to fill this gap.
