Policy Territory

The geographic area within which the insurance policy provides coverage for acts, operations, or occurrences. Standard CGL policies typically cover the United States, its territories, Puerto Rico, and Canada. Tower contractors deploying crews to international sites, offshore installations, or U.S. territories must verify their policy territory includes these locations, as claims arising outside the defined territory receive no coverage regardless of other policy terms being satisfied.
